ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
“To Give Each Child a Chance to Follow A Dream”
Alex’s Team Foundation was established in memory of Alexandra “Alex” Jane Miliotis, who died in 2002 after a courageous 10 month battle with leukemia, when she was just 16 years old. The organization is dedicated to supporting the fight against childhood cancer—funding critical research and nursing programs, raising awareness, and providing support to families who are affected by this devastating disease. As a testament to Alexandra's strength and determination, Alex’s Team focuses on empowering those on the front lines of pediatric oncology in their pursuit to defeat childhood cancer and improve care for young patients.

Ryan Wilson
Alex's Team was established to honor the life of Alex Miliotis, the identical twin sister of Ryan's wife, Arianna. Ryan became involved with Alex's Team in 2003, shortly after he began attending Wheaton College with Alex and Arianna's brother, Geordie. Over the past two decades, Ryan has been instrumental in expanding the reach of Alex's Team and deepening the organization's impact on the fight against childhood cancer. Ryan has held the role of President since 2015.
