More Than A House

Agents are constantly on the move: connecting with clients on narrowing down the perfect neighborhoods, the right price range, logistics & so much more. Wilson Group loves sharing all about the buy & sell side of the real estate process, but we have another favorite part...What happens when documents are signed, signage is removed, keys are in your hands and the closing is done?

All of those months or years of carefully searching for the right fit are finally done and the memory-making begins for each new family.

Our clients have become our friends over the years and we love hearing about and sharing memories with them in homes we helped welcome them into. We want to take you beyond the house hunting journey...and share some of the faces and stories behind Wilson Group’s homes sold.

Read more below to hear about how these houses have become home:

“We couldn't be more thankful for our move to Dedham right before the pandemic hit!  We knew we needed more space (and thank goodness we had it when we were all stuck at home!), especially for our newest addition, Baby Ivy. We landed in the perfect neighborhood for our family.  We now live on a quiet, dead-end street with the most amazing neighbors!  We are forever grateful to Wilson Group for helping us to sell our home (in a weekend!) and moving to this gem just in the nick of time!”  -- Lisa

“Our house has honestly exceeded my expectations. I was skittish to get into the housing market and now that we have we’re so glad we did. We love the independence and freedom of owning our home. We love the space we have and the opportunity to fill it with people we love. We are grateful to be in close proximity to nature and to have an opportunity to craft our house into our home. Some of our best times are spent playing in the yard, cuddled in our family room for movie night, and entertaining friends and family for dinner.”

-- Meaghan

“What we love most about our home is that we are close to our family. We love to gather with our kids, grandkids, friends, and puppies. We enjoy living in the city where we can explore entertainment, restaurants, and sporting events. At the same time, we can still enjoy our peaceful garden and the local parks and trails.”

-- Robyn & Stu

“What I love most about our home is the unique “village” design of our neighborhood in Precinct 1, Dedham. While on foot walking our neighborhood sidewalks, I have found playdate friends, babysitters, professional contacts, a group of awesome women who formed a supper club, abundant kindness from strangers and so very many cute dogs to pet.

My fondest memory here is definitely bringing my second daughter home through these doors. My mother and sister-in-law had made a cute “welcome home” banner with my first daughter - I think we kept it up for 6 months as a reminder ?

Leaving my condo in Bay Village was extraordinarily hard - my identity as a ‘city person,’ and the convenience of urban life, like my 5-minute walk commute.  But I’ve embraced the way our life in the suburbs has helped me focus on noting the simple joys and rhythms and making new traditions. I plant dahlia tubers with my kids each year on Mother’s Day, and we visit the banks of the Charles each week and watch the waters change.” -- Jess

"What I love most about our new home is that it marks the end to a few nomadic years. Our family will be calling Cambridge home for some time to come, and we are already building memories inside of this amazing space." -- Nicole

“During COVID craziness, we were lucky enough to find our forever home in Hopkinton.  We knew this would be the perfect home for our two kids Hadley (3) and Ryan (1) to grow up in.  While we’ve already had some fun celebrations in the 8 months that we’ve been here, we are certainly looking forward to making a lifetime full of fun memories!” -- Kate & Mike

“We love everything about our home. We especially love how much outdoor space we have and how much time we have spent together outside with friends and family in our yard and pool area.  We may be biased but we also have the best neighborhood.  From swimming to bike riding, to pickleball tournaments on our chalk-drawn court, to diet coke and Mentos explosions we couldn't be more thrilled with the ability to host and have plenty of space to do so.  It's really a shame that Mian hit it out of the park with finding this house for us because we miss house hunting with her but we never want to move.” -- Carrie

“I'm not very good with words, but what do we love most about our home?  We love the space! Every bit of it. Our fenced-in backyard is truly a dream come true. Our mudroom is huge and so necessary with two kids. Our open kitchen brings us all together. Our master bedroom/office combo is the best thing to ever happen to my marriage (my husband has his own "playroom" off of our bedroom to make it as messy as he wants and he can hide out and play video games without me going nuts!), my kids have a playroom too, and well, it's just perfect. I even have three beautiful gardens and a she-shed! We love it so much. I don't think we'll ever leave. More than anything though, I love that we never have to leave. It's all ours.”
